Apple Bar Orchard
2665 York Rd, Helena, MT 59602
Apple Bar Orchard is a woman-owned high-density berry orchard in the Helena valley. We grow honeyberries/haskaps, dwarf sour cherries, serviceberries/saskatoons, aronia berries, black currants, and red currants. We have about 1000 plants in about 1-1/2 acres. We started out as a research site to see what kind of berries grow in colder climate and expanded when we found out that some of them did well.

Free Will Farm
33736 Finley Point Road Polson, MT 59860
Free Will Farm is a labor of love cultivated by Lilly, a 4th generation Montanan, and her partner John on the East Shore of Flathead lake. Together they set out to minimize consumption of today’s industrially produced foods and expand their growing operation so they could support local families and provide their community with chemical-free food. The farm features a U-Pick Blueberry experience, where families can come pick fresh berries while enjoying the beauty Montana has to offer or visit the nursery and take home mature producing bushes to grow on their own. For them its not just about what grows in the soil it's about cultivating a meaningful relationship with nature, good food and the simple joys of life in Montana.

Indigo Acres
We started building our farm spring of 2022. We have just under 3000 honeyberry/haskap plants that finally got planted into the field fall 24’ into about 3 acres, eventually we would like to fill all 4 acres. We believe in building our soil and plant health to grow the healthiest berries we can and we have never/will never spray any chemicals. In doing this we are currently battling pocket gophers and weeds to get these plants established. We are hoping to be open this season for U-pick and will probably be donation only this season since the plants are small and we just want people to know we are here.

Meier Farm & Orchards
Farm Location: 89 Cut-Off Rd, Twin Bridges, MT 59754
Mail to: 188 Buffalo Drive, Dillon, MT 59725
We primarily grow saskatoons (June or serviceberry) and haskaps (honeyberries). Our farm was built the Montana way—slow, stubborn, one hardearned improvement at a time. We planted our first berry bushes in 2011, carving diverse orchards out of a hayfield and building up soil health and a full spread of infrastructure as we grew. Our berries are new takes on old Montana species long known and used by Indigenous communities, carrying classic flavors into jams, pies, and wines and inspiring creativity in today’s evolving gastronomy.
