Montana Berries
Montana's rich soil and cold-hardy climate helps to produce some of the best berries you'll ever have in your life.
Berries We Grow Well
The Montana Berry Growers Association is currently promoting the following berries. Why not try them all!

Why don't we promote huckleberries? While some success has been achieved in cultivating garden huckleberries, Western huckleberries, which we all love, are notoriously difficult to cultivate and are typically found growing wild. They are finicky about their growing environment, preferring acidic soil, partial shade, and clearings within conifer forests. Commercial farming of Western huckleberries has largely been unsuccessful, and most commercial harvesting is still done in the wild.
We are highlighting all the other wonderful berries Montana can naturally offer us!

Unique Flavor Profiles
From sweet to tart to astringent when fresh, our local berries are Treasure State treasures.

Local Montana Superfoods
-
All our berries are renowned for their high antioxidant content (anthocyanins and flavonoids), which helps combat free radicals and support a healthy immune system.
-
They are also an excellent source of fiber, vitamins, and essential minerals.
Great in Food, Beverages, Supplements
Whether you’re looking to add our berries to your smoothies, create mouthwatering jams and jellies, bake delectable desserts, or introduce a special ingredient in fruit wine, berries are the perfect addition to many recipes. Their flavor profiles adds depth and complexity to a wide range of culinary creations. They pair well with sweet, complementary ingredients like other berries and spices. They also work surprisingly well in savory dishes. Many of our berries can be considered medicinal and are often used in home remedies.
